Information The App Accesses

• Bluetooth and nearby-device information: used to detect supported earbuds, read Bluetooth LE battery signals when Android receives them, show battery status, and support connect, disconnect, notification, widget, quick settings tile, and handoff features.
• Location permission and optional last-seen location: Android may require location permission to expose Bluetooth broadcasts used for AirPods status. On Android 10 and 11, Android specifically requires background location permission for Bluetooth discovery by a service after the app closes. While Listening runs in the background, Pod Manager processes Bluetooth scan results; it does not request coordinates from Android or save last-seen coordinates. While the app is visibly open, it may save a recent last-known location locally to help you remember where earbuds were detected.
• Notification permission: used to show battery and connection status notifications.
• Display over other apps permission: used to show the case-open card outside the app when enabled.
• Foreground connected-device service: when you enable Listening, the app keeps Bluetooth listening active while the app is closed. Android shows an ongoing notification, and you can stop Listening from that notification, the app, or the Quick Settings tile.
• App preferences and local history: used to remember settings, selected device profile, recent battery readings, battery forecast information, reliability state, diagnostics, and last-seen status locally on your device.

How Information Is Used

The app uses the information above to provide nearby listening, battery cards, battery notifications, widgets, quick settings, Smart Handoff controls, finder tools, local battery history, battery forecasts, and false-positive filtering.

Data Sharing

Pod Manager Pro for AirPods does not sell user data. The current app does not transmit Bluetooth scan results, paired-device details, location details, battery history, diagnostics, or preferences to an app developer server or to third-party advertising or analytics services. When you use purchase features, the app communicates with Google Play Billing as described below.

Purchases

Optional Pro features are purchased through Google Play Billing. Google Play processes payment information directly under Google's terms; the app does not receive your payment-card details. The app receives purchase status and stores local entitlement state and, when needed, a purchase token while Google Play acknowledgement is retried. Android may run network-constrained background jobs after the app closes to retry acknowledgement and periodically reconcile whether the Lifetime purchase is purchased, pending, refunded, or no longer available to the active Google Play account. These jobs communicate only with Google Play Billing. A locally retained acknowledgement token is removed after confirmation, or after a bounded cleanup period if Google Play can no longer reconcile it.

Storage And Retention

Settings, local diagnostics, battery history, and last-seen details are stored on your Android device and are excluded from the app's Android cloud-backup and device-transfer rules. You can delete this information by clearing the app's storage or uninstalling the app from Android settings.

Security

The app is designed to keep its own data local to your device, disables cleartext network traffic, and excludes its local files from Android cloud backup and device transfer. Google Play processes optional purchases under Google's terms. Other apps you choose to open, such as a maps app or Apple's Find Devices website, operate under their own privacy policies.

Children

Pod Manager Pro for AirPods is a general utility app and is not directed to children.

Changes To This Policy

We may update this Privacy Policy when the app changes. The effective date above will be updated when material changes are made.
